BRANDON HEATH, FRIENDS HELP GENERATE
FUNDS, MUSIC FOR FAMILIES TOUCHED BY DISASTER

Fourth Annual ëLove Your Neighborí Concert Raises More Than $25,000

(Nashville, Tenn.) June 2, 2011 ñ Reunion Recordsí cornerstone artist Brandon Heath, long an advocate of supporting communities in times of need, rallied friends and colleagues for his now-annual ìLove Your Neighborî benefit concert May 24 in Nashville, and raised more than $25,000 for families affected by the recent tornadoes in Alabama.

The concert, held at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, featured Heath alongside producer/songwriter Jason Ingram, vocalist Kari Jobe and current Dove Award-winning new artist/male vocalist of the year Chris August.

Along with the funds raised, Heath and company had one extra surprise for the Lee family from Birmingham, AL whose patriarch Jim was killed when the familyís home collapsed as he was trying to protect his family. Through the generosity of Sixsteps Records and the Steinway company, the piano played that night on stage was autographed by the artists and donated to the family, replacing one small piece of the familyís tradition as they continue to rebuild from this tragedy.

The ìLove Your Neighborî event was the latest in Heathís busy spring, supporting his most recent album project Leaving Eden, and kicking off a busy summer season of festival appearances. This fall, Britt Nicole joins Heath as the Leaving Eden Tour impacts nearly 40 cities around the country. A final list of venues, tour sponsors and strategic partnerships associated with the Leaving Eden Tour will be announced in the coming weeks.
